Checking Your Online Usage

Introduction:

This article demonstrates how to view your online usage information. Your online usage information is updated every hour.

Procedure/Solution:

HN9X00 Online Usage

  1. Open http://customercare.myhughesnet.com.
  2. Click Tools under Self help.
  3. Click Check Usage.
  4. Click on the modem you own.
  5. At the bottom of the page, verify that your SAN/ST Name is correct.
    1. Open the System Control Center (SCC). For assistance, click here.
    2. Click System Info.
    3. Your ST Name will be displayed in the Identification section.
  6. If the SAN/ST Name is not correct, enter the correct SAN/ST Name.
  7. The default selection is "This month", which will present the information from the first of the month. (If this test is run the middle of the month, it will display only from the 1st to the current date.) If you would like to view your last month's usage click the radio button next to Prior month.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. A sample result follows. Your online usage information is updated every hour with a delay of two hours before the page is updated (i.e., your usage between 14:00 and 15:00 should be displayed at about 17:00 hours).
Key
  • Date: Indicates the session date.
  • Time From, Time To: Indicates an hour time frame where usage was recorded.
  • Min Used: Indicates the actual usage time.
  • Download In MB: Indicates amount of data downloaded during the minutes used.
  • Subject to FAP: Indicates whether you are subject to the Fair Access Policy (FAP) during the time frame.

HN9X00 Usage History

  1. Login to myHughesNet. Click Site Care > HughesNetSP Remote > View Usage Info.
  2. The following screen will be displayed.
  3. Scroll down.
  4. Verify your Site ID.
  5. Select the time period for which you would like to view your service history and click the associated radio button.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Your service history for the selected time period will be displayed.

DW60X0, DW7X00, HN7X00

  • Open http://customercare.myhughesnet.com.
  • Click Tools under Self help.
  • Click Check Usage.
  • Click on the modem you own.
  • At the bottom of the page, verify that your Site ID is correct.
  • If the Site ID is not correct, enter the correct Site ID Name.
  • Open the System Control Center (SCC). For assistance, Click System Info.
  • Your Site ID will be displayed in the Identification section.
  • The default selection is "This month", which will present the information from the first of the month. (If this test is run the middle of the month, it will display only from the 1st to the current date.) If you would like to view your last month's usage click the radio button next to Prior month.

DW3000, DW4000

  1. Open http://customercare.myhughesnet.com.
  2. Click Tools under Self help.
  3. Click Check Usage.
  4. Click on the modem you own.
  5. At the bottom of the page, verify that your Site ID is correct.

    Note: All characters are in upper case (capital) letters. The first digit of the Site ID is always a zero and not the letter "O".

    1. Right click the DW icon located in the systems tray.
    2. Select About
    3. Click on Systems Information
    4. Check Site ID
  6. The default selection is "This month", which will present the information from the first of the month. (If this test is run the middle of the month, it will display only from the 1st to the current date.) If you would like to view your last month's usage click the radio button next to Prior month.
  7. Click Submit.
